It's a new year and time to recognize the Adults in your unit!
most common Cub Leader and Boy Scout Leader Awards. Also listed are our popular
District Award Nomination Forms. Take the time to nominate those that make your Unit run successfully.
GIVE YOURSELVES A BIG ROUND OF APPLAUSE!
We had 200 Scouts attain the rank of EAGLE in 2011.
Our District was, once again, the TOP Popcorn-selling District in the entire Council!
Total Sales were $230,175.00 - an increase of 11% over 2010.
Our TOP 5 Popcorn-selling units were:
Pack 390 - $14,237
Troop 301 - $13,138
Pack 404 - $12,481
Pack 382 - $11,004
Pack 340 - $10,915
Congratulations to all our Units that experienced an increase in sales over 2010!!!
FYI - HUNTING SEASON IS OPEN
Don't forget that you'll have more company in the woods this quarter. Deer season runs 1/9-1/31 for firearms. Small game hunting occurs through 2/29.
Hunting occurs on weekdays. For deer season, we recommend that you stay on marked trails.
Please note that hiking permits in the DEC lands are not valid weekdays from 1/9-1/31 marked trails or not.
The lands effected during the January firearms deer season are Rocky Point Natural Resources Management Area, Otis Pike Preserve,
Sarnoff Pine Barrens Preserve, Barcelona Neck, West Tiana, East Hampton Cooperative Area and Westhampton Management Area.
